I stumbled across this article today and thought it was worth sharing. 6 Bad Excuses for Overeating.
I found the excuses pretty interesting. I’m pretty sure all of us have used at least one of these excuses before. Here are the bad excuses this article lists:
- It’s “good” fat.
- It’s the weekend.
- I’m going to the gym tonight.
- I have PMS.
- It’s a “free” food.
- I drink lots of water.
And if you’re wondering – Yes, these really are all bad excuses for overeating. The article does a pretty good job of explaining why.
I think my favorites are “It’s good fat” and “It’s a free food.” Although I’m not exactly sure what food a person might consider a “free” food. No foods are calorie free, no it doesn’t matter what food it is, the more you eat, the more calories you consume.
